> Good to hear from you, Jommeke. I was thinking about you just a couple of days ago. I have a Canon Mulitpass C5500. We have to keep it unplugged from the phone line so it won't make wierd noises in our ear every time we answer the phone. If you come up with a solution, let me know.

Anyway, thanks for the reaction and nope, i dont found a solution yet . The procedure you described isn't possible, since the telephone needs to be set in series with the fax (instead of parallel).

I already found some solutions (example: for stopping the fax from producing a high-tone beep when someone is calling; so, for the caller its like you are connected to a normal telephone ...), but not yet for the main problem.

Anyway, i'll keep you informed.
