I just had to share this with someone, and you guys are the best bunch of people I could share it with. This Friday is my second anniversary of dating my girlfriend, and I'll be going down to Lethbridge to visit her for the weekend. Tomorrow night I am picking up a ring for her (not an engagement ring-- As some of you know, that must wait until she finishes university) and probably a few books as well. If all goes well (i.e. we can still get reservations) we will be going out to the fanciest restaurant in the city Saturday night.

Most of you may be thinking at this point "Blah blah, yada yada, what's your point?", and to you, I apologize. My point is this is only my second relationship, and the first only lasted six months, and I haven't seen my girlfriend in five weeks, and I'm EXCITED and had to share. So I hope this cheers up somebody who is having a lousy day, or something, so at least this post can have a practical purpose.

People who wish to bubble happily with me (or chastise me for being so frivolous) may feel free to reply to this post. People who wish to discuss politics, economics, grammar, doughnuts, cruises, boats, Scotland, Harry Potter, abortion, adoption, or squirrels can probably find another thread on which to do so. People who wish to discuss grammar only in regards to whether or not I should have added a comma after "squirrels" in my previous sentence may also feel free to reply to this post.
