Lambrettas are still to be seen - in fact, strangely or not, scooters have become remarkably popular here of late, sales up 200% on previous year or some such. Lovely retro designs too - I might almost be tempted (except that I have 90 miles of motorway every day - little wheels and a 70mph top speed wouldn't be the best solution).

I'd never heard of Cushmans until you brought them up, then in a supermarket carpack last week I noticed they'd made the electric tractors that shunt discarded trollies around. Not quite the glamour days of old I suspect...
