Lovely retro designs too - I might almost be tempted (except that I have 90 miles of motorway every day - little wheels and a 70mph top speed wouldn't be the best solution). > > I'd never heard of Cushmans until you brought them up, then in a supermarket carpack last week I noticed they'd made the electric tractors that shunt discarded trollies around. Cushmans are for fun only these days. They won't keep up with modern traffic. I probably put about 100 miles a year combined total on all my scooters. Most of it is on the street in front of the house or around meet sites. I go to 3 or 4 meets a year. Vintage scooter collecting is a fun hobby, but it can be expensive. The Cushman Company is now owned by an English firm. Their plant in Lincoln, Nebraska makes turf maintaince equipment for parks and golf courses. They haven't made a two-wheel scooter since 1965. Pity. Howard
