The second half, with the treasure hunters (who will become the new crew) was deffinatly the better half of the show. If you get a chance give the second half a look.

The again I have a high degree of apreaciation for cheese in my sci-fi. So I guess you have to judge for yourself. Still, if you look at the early epsiodes of Next Generation compared to the end of the series you can see that a good show can grow from very campy origins.

And I know I want my starship's Avatar to look like that.
