Right, so ripping out somebody's intestines and winding them up while sort of playing with them like a harp is just run of the mill gory? Sorry, The Cell was whack. There was a lot of violence and imagery that goes beyond what is normal in an R movie, though I suspect not that much more than what is in some slasher movies....
