does this mean that you not only disapprove of procedures without which people would continue to live (ie, assisted suicide), but also procedures without which people would undoubtedly die? (modern medicine?) The "life should be preserved at all costs" vs. "keeping people alive, but in horrible pain or as a vegetable is bad" makes sense, but you seem to be disapproving of medicine in its entirety here. If not, please explain..

God changed -a-lot- between the Old Testament and the New, and even inside the New Testament from the time of Abraham, Jacob, and Isaac to the time of Isaiah.. The New Testament, for Christians, overrides the old much of the time; you didn't explicitly say you were Christian, though.. But in any case, you just said above that only God has the right to determine who lives and who dies! Do you think the US Justice System is divinely inspired?
