> The kicker? It was my first date. I was fourteen and he was fifteen. We saw it because he didn't want to take me to see a PG-13 movie ("Alaska", unsurprisingly enough, was PG). His parents drove us and sat behind us in the theatre. Let me tell you, it was a blast.

Our "first date" movie was "Dances With Wolves." The movie theatre we went to isn't even *there* anymore, but I guess it was a good first date movie, since we're still together after however many years it is since "Dances With Wolves" came out. :-)

My actual *first* first date, however, was appalling. Same reason as Jessica's. Neither of us could drive, so my mum came with us, and somebody saw us, and told the *whole school* I went on a date with my mum along too. I don't think I went on another date for years after that. Being a teenager has to be the worst phase of your life.
