Neither of us could drive, so my mum came with us, and somebody saw us, and told the *whole school* I went on a date with my mum along too. I don't think I went on another date for years after that. Being a teenager has to be the worst phase of your life.

My first date with Sean (a little over two years ago) was the dinner-and-a-movie thing. We saw "The Big Hit," a most forgettable movie, and then we went to Chili's. The only reason I remember the name of the movie is because it was my first date with Sean. It was also the first time that I went to Chili's, and that was definitely a good thing. Needless to say, Sean and I have since been to quite a few movies together, and Chili's is still my favorite restaurant.

As for other movie dates with other guys, I've been on a few of them. When I was 16 I saw "Chain Reaction." My mom was a combination of extremely worried and a bit excited because it was my first *official* date that didn't include a group of people. He arrived late because he got lost (which happened to most people the first time they came to my house) and we sped off to the movies. We missed the first five or ten minutes, so we were confused for quite a while. Interestingly enough, I wound up watching that movie on TV with my next boyfriend a couple of years later.

And then there was the Christmas that the first "Toy Story" came out. I was looking forward to watching it with my boyfriend, but he dumped me shortly before Christmas. A big group of us wound up going to see the movie anyways, and he showed up with a new girl.
