My newspaper doesn't get Garfield or Heathcliff, but I know who both of them are. I think Heathcliff had his own cartoon show for a while, didn't he? He lives in a city dump, I believe, and is orange with black stripes, like Garfield.

And I just got "Get Fuzzy" in my newspaper just a short while ago. It's become one of my favorites. Bucky rules, but I think Satchel the dog is best.
