I don't think Overboard is offensive, either. Far from it. I just think it is boring! The cartooning is weak (but that is sometimes on purpose. Not sure about here), and the strips are just plain BORING. It is the same jokes over and over. It is rare that I come upon an original one. Overboard is the Three's Company of the comics, a one trick pony.

Of course, this is my opinion. I know lots of people who like it.
