Travholt: I know this is probably what you mean anyway, but I have to make this point: Doing or not doing any of those things are not *inherently* sin. BUT, any of things *could* be a sin for certain people. It WOULD be a sin for someone not to be a missionary to Africa or an evangelist in the streets, if that was God's plan for that person's life and they ignored it and even rebelled against it.

To take it further, it would be a sin for me to go to a movie on Sunday night instead of attending church. Why? Because I have a personal conviction that God wants me in church on Sunday nights. I realize that not everyone has the same convictions. There are stronger and weaker brethren, as it says in Romans 14. You could become a stumblingblock to a weaker brother (or an offense to a stronger one) by making your statement without a disclaimer.
