Well, I might as well go ahead and answer this one. I'm a veghead for taste reasons. Ever since I was knee high to a grasshopper, I haven't liked the taste of meat. So, a soy burger claiming that it tastes "Just like a hamburger" has no appeal to me at ALL! Gardenburgers are good because they taste nothing like a hamburger.

And if a veghead doesn't eat meat because of ethical reasons, it can safely be assumed that they *like* the taste of meat, therefore, eating something that *tastes* or looks like meat isn't bad, so long as it *isn't* meat. Do you see what I'm getting at? They have made this HUGE sacrifice (for themselves, anyway. For me, not so much) of not eating meat...not because they don't like it, but because they don't like the idea of eating something dead. Or some such thing.
