Yes, I have seen a fat vegetarian. A cousin of mine is a vegetarian, and she weighs probably 300 pounds. Also, when I became a vegetarian in high school (only lasted a year) I did it the wrong way. Instead of meat, I ate junk food. That's when I gained lots of weight. After I stopped being a vegetarian, I lost most of it.

In another reply to this thread, Brunnen-G stated that she does not eat pork because she has to practice giving shots to pig parts. I completely understand this view, since I've seen slaughter, processing, and carcasses hanging from racks (it's not that often of an occurance, fortunately). For a few days after one of these experiences, I'll stop eating that particular type of meat.
Last year, I raised chickens for a school poultry project. In July, the chickens were sold to a major poultry company. From July until September, I wouldn't eat that brand of chicken for fear that it was one that I had helped raise.
