After reading the noble "How to be Romantic" lessons enshrined in the RinkChat archives, I can no longer resist...

On November 30, 1999 at 08:30:00, Howard suavely suggested:

"Would it be ok to refer to Sam as SWWBP? I think the whole Snookie Wookum Weetie Bunny Pie name is a little long to type out."

Wolfspirit is starstruck by Howard's astounding acumen and replies:

Oh Howard. Howieeee. My dearest, delightful lovey-dove... my handsome little smooogly macaroni bunny cake. Howie, isn't my new name for you just *adorable*?

Darling; surely you know it's now your turn to reciprocate. How sweet! I know you love Ogden Nashish verse, but we're speaking of finer things... of oh-so-delicate courtship rites, and the heady negociations wrought in pursuit of true luv. Doubtlessly you know Dorothy Parker says it best with matchless clarity, don't you think dear? She writes,

"One Perfect Rose"
Dorothy Parker

A single flow'r he sent me, since we met.
All tenderly his messenger he chose;
Deep-hearted, pure, with scented dew still wet--
One perfect rose.

I knew the language of the floweret;
"My fragile leaves," it said, "his heart enclose."
Love long has taken for his amulet
One perfect rose.

Why is it no one ever sent me yet
One perfect limousine, do you suppose?
Ah no, it's always just my luck to get
One perfect rose.

Wolf "whoo--I bet a finn that Howard runs screaming and all" spirit
