Hmm, could that be partially aimed at *me*, Dave? ;-) You see, this is a really annoying thing I've discovered since RinkChat opened. Even if I actually *say* I'm a guy or a girl, nobody believes me because they're all so convinced of their own theories on the subject. And now nobody wants to hit on me, just in case. All you darn Rink regulars have got me trapped no matter which way I turn.

I mean, look at what I've got myself into here: if I say I'm a guy, unipeg will be "traumatised" (her own word), famous and Jimmy of York will probably spontaneously combust, and whoever else voted with the 41.9% will be disappointed and annoyed. On the other hand, if I say I'm a girl, even more people will be disappointed and annoyed, Sam will probably ban me for life just out of spite, I'll have to get hit on by Dave in RinkChat, and Spider-Boy will probably be proposing marriage within seconds, which is a truly scary thought. Not to mention the fact that I'd have to go to all the trouble of finding another way to mystify and irritate everybody.

Oh well, I guess Dave won't be running short of people to hit on in chat for a while yet. He doesn't know what he's missing out on, though: I've met Darienina and, whoa, she is one hot cookie. The name similarity, and the fact that her email and IP are identical to Darien's, are just one of those wacky coincidences for which the Internet is famed.
