I totally agree. Worse things have happenned. Think about it this way: What if we as a country put money into infrasturcture that included public transportation that people actually could use practically? Then we wouldn't have all of these mammoth gargantuan traffic problems that we need to alleviate by taking more land and more money to make bigger (and noisier)freeways.
