Come on now, help me on this.
I'm trying to find all possible ways of saying that Ned* is dumb, without actually saying it. So far I've come up with:
Ned's elevator doesn't go all the way to the top.
He has lost his marbles.
The lights are on, but there's nobody home.
Ned isn't playing with a full deck.
His motor is running but he can't get it in gear.
It's a nice kettle, but there's no lid on it.
I think his brain is out of warrenty.
Ned doesn't know which end is up.(or which WAY)
When they gave out brains, he was behind the door.
He doesn't know beans when the bag is open.
I read his mind and it said, "Space for rent."
Whisper in his ear and you'll get an echo.
If brains were dynamite,he couldn't blow his nose.
*I use the name "Ned" because it is easy to spell. Actually the only Ned I know is pretty smart.
