I really like the book of Job, because it makes such a strong, profound statement about the way in which we have to regard God's divinity. The book of Job teaches that humans are incapable of questioning God simply by reason of our finiteness and God's ultimate power and authority. God's wisdom and motives for doing what He does are utterly outside our ability to grasp, much less scrutinize and judge as right or wrong.

The book is virtually a "God's might makes right" argument, as Job ultimately surrenders in acknowledgement of God's omnipotence, and leaves off attempting to call God into account for his tragic experiences. But the book ends with God vindicating Job in front of his detractors, and showing mercy and generosity to him. In the Christian faith, you have to have both truths going at once: God is beyond us and His actions cannot be gainsaid, yet God is absolutely trustworthy and full of grace and mercy. God's might, PLUS His wisdom and love, makes right.
