I play the stereotypes with a bit of tongue-in-cheek--I would never assume individuals automatically fit the stereotypes, but I have lived in a few places in my life, too, and I have noticed that the stereotypes are made for a reason.

The blog is listed below. I also have them put up on deviantART--to attract a little more traffic to them.

There's more than just state stereotypes, but most of the posters are either satire, making fun of something, or me just being dumb.

> While sterotypes are generally in bad taste, they are a source of humor. As a kid, I lived in Kentucky. But we moved to Florida, where some of the kids in my class were surprised that I wore shoes. There was no TV then, but L'il Abner was in the funny papers, and movies had no qualms about making hillbillies look like the sterotype. They were not nice to people of color, either, but to their credit, they have learned.

I always enjoy telling people what a beautiful place Mississippi is, and watching their reaction. Sure, all states have their drawbacks, but Tennessee or New Jersey, Mississippi or Illinois, California or South Carolina, they are all largely beautiful places with intelligent, friendly people.

His wife, who was cooking at the time, rushed outside leaving food cooking on the stove. The kitchen caught fire. Someone had called 911 and emergency respoders wound up fighting the fire as the man was airlifted by helicopter to the hospital. His house was seriously damaged by fire. The police gave him a ticket for failure to yield to the oncoming car. His car was destroyed, and his wife was upset. The other driver may sue him. I would not want to be there when the poor guy gets the bill for the helicopter ride.
