I know this nomie guy, this is what he said:

Furthermore namie is perfectly acceptable as a name, I don't see what's offensive about it. I am a big sim racing fan and play netkar and netkar pro. The last free version of netkar (.99) was code named namie. So I mean, I've got a name that's "similar" to someone who hasn't been here in years and that means I get IP banned without being told why? Furthermore, I was not on as several people, namie is the only name I have used in rinkchat.

The name "namie" is similar to that of a person we know, and that may have caused confusion as to your intention. Also, and I apologize if this does not apply to you, if people are in chat with more than one name at a time or attempt to act as several people, this is generally not looked upon kindly.
