I definitely wouldn't say that "namie" is "offensive" but I do agree that it is confusing. nomie may have pretty much "relinquished" the name to you by saying you come here more often but that does not mean that other people agree. It is often better to accept, as a newcomer, what the established community desires. However, if you were not given a warning or told why, I am sorry about that.

Also, as Lazorra said, it is hard for us to believe that when multiple new people come in at the same time it is a coincidence. However, coincidences do happen. I personally am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt but as I was not in chat at the time I do not want to get involved in unbanning or anything of that sort. Again, I urge you to contact Sam, as he would be able to review the situation and unban you if appropriate.
