This is my first time through MR (I love it, by the way). I have made it to Lyesis, and am doing well enough against the monsters on level seven that I'm about to try level eight. (Is this wise? My characters are on about level 14/15.)

But my main question is about money. I've got 110,000 gold on each character. Is this enough to feel all right with spending some on items that aren't strictly necessary? I like to have Homing Stones and Healing Potions, but currently I only get the ones from battle. It makes me uncomfortable to not have a Homing Stone especially, since my sorceress is usually the first to die.

So how careful do I have to be with money in the coming levels? What can I expect?
