This Jungle Jim series entry has a power-hungry native chieftain scheming
with a crook to gain control of a few disparate tribes in the area so they
can profit from oil drilling rights. There's a frightening kernel of
realism beneath all the hokiness of the sets and acting and dialogue, but
fortunately the chimpanzee Tamba does some backflips, and everything works
out in the end.
