Sinbad Comic

Join Sinbad and his merry men as they embark on a dubiously-conceived quest to foil a dubiously-conceived but probably evil plot by the evil vizier Jaffar! Sinbad Comic is a screen-cap comic based on the incredible, incomparable, and inexplicable 1989 Lou Ferrigno film, Sinbad of the Seven Seas.

About Sinbad Translation Party

Sinbad Translation Party consists of the normal Sinbad Comic strips with the dialogue translated by the Translation Party web site, which uses Google's translation tools to translate text back and forth between Japanese and English until the text stops changing. This process usually produces translations that are wildly, hilariously, unrecognizably different from the original text.

If you are new to Sinbad Comic, we highly recommend that you read the unaltered Sinbad Comic strips first, before seeing how computerized translation tools mangle them.

"You may have read the story of a young woman's dignity."

That's some brilliant snarking right there.

Disturbingly enough, this is a lot better than the original comic.

In my experience, when someone says, "This doesn't sound like I meant it," what they really mean is, "I know this is stupid, but I'm going to say it anyway and don't want you to hold it against me."

It's this or nothing, MiniGeek -- and before I had the Translation Party idea, it *was* going to be nothing. I need the break to catch up on the normal run of comics, and also to recover from the rush. If I'm burning time to making fancier bonus features, I'm not getting either of those things done.

That said, I do have other tidbits besides the two updates I posted before running the Translation Party comics. I haven't decided where they'll fall in the schedule.

These are funny, but don't you think you should show us something new during the break instead of just running comics we've already seen through a web site we could use ourselves? Maybe show these 5 at a time (at least...maybe just all at once) and then get on to other things.

This probably sounds a bit more whiny and demanding than is intended, but I was expecting something other than just this until Sinbad returns.

The Partied title reminds me of a strip in the Azumanga Daioh manga, in which Tomo says Yukari is pretty until she starts talking.
"HEY! Are you saying once I open my big yap I'm not pretty any more?" "Yeah, that's about right." :D

"This book is the mother's lap." Possibly the best book review ever.

Now she wants her to buy something from her own makeshift bedroom?
