Just to correct what I said in this post, there is in fact no oddness in the text, and there are in fact *four* different variations on the text depending on whether you've entered your quarters before and whether you're entering for the first time after chasing the cat; when I was looking at the code last night I missed the fact that there are two room-entering options.
