I have a little bump on my thyroid. It has not changed in the five or six years since my doctor found it. But his comment after the original testing was that if you are going to get cancer, thyroid cancer is the one you want. He said it is easy to cure.

I heard last night that one of my favorite race car drivers has cancer in his neck. Maybe it is thyroid cancer. He drove in a race last night but said he was going to take some time off while undergoing treatment. I think he is about 50.
