Today my mom is going in to the hospital for a needle biopsy of a lump on her thyroid. One of the lumps, I should say: The ultrasounds have shown she has several. There's like a 50/50 chance it could be cancer.

She's scared. If you can spare a prayer, we'd all appreciate it.
