My doctor found a lump on my thyroid about 5 years ago. It's still there and hasn't changed. He did ultrasounds, which I thought was a nice painless idea. His comment was that if you are going to get cancer, thyroid cancer is the one you want. Easy to cure. Yes, I know. People die of it, but that is rare.
