Yes, I hear those great stories from time to time.
I was watching an old favorite movie the other day. Perhaps you have heard of "The Gods Must be Crazy." It is culture shock from one end to the other. There is even that old thing about shaking the head up and down to say "no" and side to side to say "yes."
The first time I visited places like California, New England, Florida, and Mexico, I was awash in culture shock. But hardly anything gets me anymore. But then, I have never been east of Greenwich, England. Howard
