I could handle that; I love meat, and I think I would be willing to try about any kind--dog, horse, etc.--but I can't imagine eating grasshoppers and locusts, as some people in Africa and the Middle East do. What kind of foreign food gives you shivers, or would you try anything once?
Eyes. Fish eyes, sheep eyes, whatever. Eyes are about the only thing I'm squeamish about anyway, and they're the only food I can think of that I could absolutely not bring myself to eat.
'Course I'm not keen on the idea of eating dog meat or insects either, but I'd do it if there was a good reason.
In general I think if I was in a foreign place and an exotic and unidentifiable dish was placed before me, I'd dig in without asking questions. I wouldn't mind finding out after the fact that I'd eaten dog meat (or even sheep's eyes), but knowing about it ahead of time would make it a little difficult to stomach.
