Here is what I have now

Diving Mask
Pick
Life Preserver
Dead Fish
Broken Free Trial Sword of Failing
Ticket
Stone of Strengthening
Bucket
Magic Armor of Magic
Key of Questioning
Food Rations
Rope

I have been though the portal a few times and I've gotten into the city, but I haven't been able to actually get anywhere. Could someone give me a hint as to what I need to do?
