Checked out that odd structure south of town? Talked to its weird inhabitants and their leader? They don't make much sense, but once you've met them you can probably find out about them from the proprietor of the town's social nexus. Once you've gotten more info and pondered the problem fully, you'll be inspired to start a new quest.
