I think you've nailed it. Wistfulness is exactly what it is, though I was unable to pinpoint it before. Maybe now that I've labeled it, I can deal with it a little better.

Thank you so much for posting this. It verbalized what I've been feeling and really helped me understand myself a little better. That's something very few people can do. :-) Now that I know time is the magic ingredient, I'm willing to give myself time instead of getting frustrated with myself.
