I'm all for reaching people with the Gospel, but...whoa. That reminds me of the version that's translated into modern-day English, complete with slang. To me, that takes away a lot of the beauty of the Bible's verses, and thus a lot of the power. But that's my KJV upbringing talking.

I object to this: "The idea is the Bible can be used and be relevant and up-to-date, just like getting a verse of the day or reading a horoscope."

Someone please stop me from taking out a hit on this man for comparing daily Bible verses to a horoscope, let alone for saying horoscopes are "relevant."
