gasoline

I think I will be OK if the gasoline prices don't go too much higher. I have a car and a truck that are fairly easy on gas. But being the owner of a fleet of motor scooters that get anywhere from 60 to 120 miles on a gallon has to be a big advantage.
I will continue to use the car for necessary trips, but when cars begin to disappear from the road, if will be much safer for a motor scooter. I've already noticed commuters on motorcycles and scooters. Why would you drive to work in an SUV on a nice day when you have a two-wheeler sitting there that can go all week on the gas that big gashog uses in a day? Sure, bad weather would make a difference, but on a nice day, you can save yourself some real money. It's fun too.
I might find myself staying home more. I don't go to work, and this time of year the freezers are full of food. A trip a week to the grocery is more than enough. Maybe I can catch up on some of the things that need doing at home.
But (sob! sniff! blubber!) Hawaii is on the back burner. Howard
