Maybe it will get *me* to get a *more* fuel-efficient vehicle the next time I buy a car. Like one of those hybrids or something. Yesterday I filled up my little Ford Escort and paid over $30. I remember when it used to cost that much to fill up mom & dad's mini-van. I shudder to think of what it would cost to tank up one of those, or an SUV, now.
