I'm exploring this question right now. So far, the result seems to be a near-critical lack of funds, but I'm withholding judgement till all results are in.

Then again I suppose it all depends on your definition of need. Some small-minded folk would consider it a "need" to work enough to earn enough to spend more than $15 on groceries every week. But I scoff at them.

And Starbucks. The apocalypse will be a three-way showdown, and everybody who hasn't already sold their soul to one of the three Great Commercial Entities will be trodden underfoot. Of course, those who *have* sold their souls will be trodden underfoot too, it'll just take longer.
