Did the poll get replaced earlier than usual because Kirk got hammered by Han Solo, or is my sense of time just warped because it's summer and I don't have to care which day it is?
I doubt the result was ever in doubt though. Granted, this is the internet which would probably push more support to Kirk's side than he probably deserves on account of the sterotype of the trekkie population, but the stereotype of the Star Wars geeks would probably balance that out, and since Han Solo is Harrison Ford he can draw on the reflected coolness from his other roles, whereas Kirk can sort of just fail.
