Aaron Sorkin's writing is great. I haven't seen SportsNight (not sure that it's ever been on TV in the UK and I don't have satellite so am confined to five channels, all showing either depressing soaps about people making themselves miserable by getting married and having kids for all the wrong reasons, or reality TV such as Big Brother or Celebrity Love Island) but I am however rewatching series one of the West Wing at the moment and it's just so good.
