What I learned is that there were certain concepts they liked to focus on and you would get a version of some of those concepts on each test. So if I knew that there were usually three questions dealing with volume, I made sure to know the basics of volume in relation to how they asked those questions. And if I never saw something about arcs in a circle, I would spend little to no time reviewing that. Of course, that doesn't mean you won't get a question about it, but noticing trends can increase your chances of being prepared.
As for the best way to review, it probably depends on how you learn. One thing that might be good is to go to a bookstore like Borders and look for the laminated one-sheets that they often carry. They have them for things like HTML and Photoshop and often subject material. If you can find something like that for Geometry and Algebra, it will be a good reference for the basics, the things that are usually taught and tested on for general knowledge of a subject. There might be some good Web sites with that, too. Or you can hire Gremlinn. Math whizzes are usually bad at arithmetic, though, so watch out.
