It was easier when I thought a hard drive was a bad road trip!

Okay -- I turn here for help after exhausting my pretty competent web surfing abilities.

I bought a USB drive -- a Lexar, JumpDrive Secure. I installed it at work (where I run XP), and thought "Gee, a secure area would be a great idea." Saved some files there, brought it home (where I run 2000).

Can't access the darn secure drive. Can't get there from here, nohow, no way. Can't even seem to get back there at work, to change the configuration of the whole disk (totally public would be fine).

Can't find it, can't seem to reformat the driver (it will reformat the 62 Mb I've allocated to Public, but does not recognize the secure portion).

I am frustrated -- and I've been messing with controls and parts of my computer I've never seen before.

Suggestions, before I work myself into the blue screen of death? I was so happy with this little toy: I was so tired of burning and carrying and rewriting CD's. Now I'm just annoyed.

Thanks folks . . .

te "spent three hours I did NOT have to spend on this today!!" ach
