I am beginning to faintly hear an old Willie Nelson tune. That must mean it's hit-the-road time again. Yes, the calendar shows that we leave for the Alaska trip mid-week. Excited? Yer dern tootin' I am. When travel is no longer exciting, I'll stay home. But I can't see that happening any time soon.

By coincidence, while we are off to Alaska, our older son is flying to Denver, and our older daughter is going to New England by train. Our younger daughter is cruising to Bermuda and our younger son, who didn't get the travel gene, is staying home.
