Geez, now I feel ancient because I can remember when the Katzenjammer Kids, Pogo, Popeye, and Andy Capp were still in the funnies. And I'm less than half Howard's age, too. > Archie is still around, although I don't read it. Mutt and Jeff are unfamilar to me. We don't get it here but I belive Dick Tracy is still running in newspapers across the nation. Plastic Man is still alive and well in the DC universe. Infact he has joined the JLA and had a special one-shot. Which Captain Marvel, the DC guy had his book canceled recintly, but is still showing up in guest shots. the Marvel Comics guy died awhile ago from cancer, his son Legacy is going to take up the name in his own book soon. > Never heard of the Katchenjammer Kids. Mad Magazine is still around, with about 18 or 20 "special" issues each year. > > If you want to start up again I suggest Avengers, Daredevil, JLA, JSA, any of the Bat-Man books, Spider-Girl (no relation), and the X-Books > > Spider-MakeMineRinkWorks-Boy
Seeing that you're Spider-Boy, well, I don't feel quite so bad asking an outdated trivial Spider-related question. So, here goes... What was the real reason why Peter Parker went through that period when we was wearing all-white skintights, instead of the usual red-and-blue ones? And what caused him to switch back? I missed all that... Along with Superman dying and returning from the dead, but hey! I can't keep track of all cultural icons all the time. :-)
"Wolfspiders, anyone?"
