Okay, this is going to take a LOT of work. So I'll just start you off to keep from breaking the "no spoilers" rule.

For starters, your inventory reveals that you already made short work of that cat. So have you explored the castle the cat was blocking yet? Or have you taken out the dwarf's garage? The ruins are very revealing.

A certain vanity queen with a tail will reward you handsomely. Then you can buy one of the items you need...
