I think it's because I get this image in my head of a man actually picking up a horse, slinging it over his shoulder, and carrying it off. Horses are big and heavy, and carrying is not a verb usually associated with them. Do you have any ideas for how you'd carry a horse? I'm interested now!

Gimme a break; it's only been two days!

Firstly, I love the idea of giving a horse a piggy-back!

And I completely forgot about the magic sack. I'm pretty sure you could fit a horse in one of those!

The sack itself is a bit of a mystery. When I first saw it in my inventory, I was a bit confused as to where I got it from. Even now, I'm not quite sure why you need it. It seems you only need it for the Fantasy quests, but you can cope perfectly well with carrying larger items in other games (although in a few of them, I found myself desperately lacking my sack!).
Maybe there is some multiple dimensions explanation, that means it can only work in fantasy worlds. Or perhaps it helps the camera trees keep an eye on what you're carrying, to better deliver the required items when you need them. Or maybe there is a very simple, but incredibly dull explanation. We'll probably never know...
