Gah, I was so eager to finish the entire early years, that I missed that map...

However, I know that that Area is circular, let's see if I can calrify myself with a bit of ASCII art (please ignore the 'o's) :

That's how I have it mapped out, with the two A*'s tying up together. So either I have mixed up an east and a west somewhere myself (I know this happens occasionally :-/ ), or there is a bug in the game.

But yes, I had to redraw the map four or five times before I got a workable version.
