Hi Howard,

Probably the easiest way to see if the file you found has your pictures in it is not to try it from Word - try starting from the My Documents folder as normal (you can usually get to it by clicking Start, then My Documents), and click through until you reach the file you saw before. Then, double-click on that file to load it with whatever program made it. Hopefully that should work.

If that doesn't work, then I'll need a bit more information. Click with the right mouse button on the file, and choose Properties from the menu. There'll be an "Opens with" line and a button called Change next to it - click on the button. (Don't worry, we're not actually going to change anything.) At the of the windows you'll see a "File:" entry, with the name of the file, along with its 'extension' after a dot - for example, "example.html". If you could tell me that full filename as above, including the dot and everything after it, that would help quite a bit.

After you've written it down, just click Cancel on the two windows you opened as you don't need them any more.

Af for the "Trash" button in Outlook Express, I'm not sure there is one. I don't use OE much myself nowadays, though. You could try right-clicking on the message subject in the list of messages and seeing if it appears on the menu.

Hope this helps!

- Ciaran.
