As you may know by now, version 1.0 of Firefox, the Web browser that's been taking the Internet by storm, has been released. You should all go do yourselves a favour and download it.
As a service to Rinkies, I'm providing a mirror of the full 1.0 release directory at http://matrix.theblob.org/firefox-1.0/ . It's not a permanent mirror but it'll be up for at least the rest of the month - probably more. Mainly, it's so that anyone who has trouble downloading from mozilla.org (in case of slow speeds, etc) can access some fast, little-used servers.
One thing, though. If you have BitTorrent and know how to use it, you should probably use that instead; the .torrent files are at:
* Windows US English (ZIP): http://matrix.theblob.org/firefox-1.0/win32/en-US/Firefox%201.0.zip.torrent
* Windows US English (EXE): http://matrix.theblob.org/firefox-1.0/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%201.0.exe.torrent
* Linux US English (installer): http://matrix.theblob.org/firefox-1.0/linux-i686/en-US/firefox-1.0.installer.tar.gz.torrent
* Linux US English (no installer): http://matrix.theblob.org/firefox-1.0/linux-i686/en-US/firefox-1.0.tar.gz.torrent
If you don't know what BitTorrent is, or don't have it, feel free to use the main directory. It's just that by using BitTorrent, you not only help me to save bandwidth but you also help others in need of the files too by sharing at the same time as downloading.
Anyway, I hope this helps if you're trying to download Firefox. :D
