That's an easy one. Fat guys have to keep eating whether or not they get a discount. Also, giving fat people a discount on food is the flip side of Kerry's "tax the rich" policy. A little discount winds up applying to a disproportionate amount of the food sold, and quickly becomes a lot of money.

The idea of giving seniors discounts is profitable because they come in for dinner at 4 PM, so they're out the door before all the tables fill up with people (fat and thin alike) willing to pay full price for their meals. So all you're doing is luring in customers when the place would otherwise be empty.
